I love a good ribeye, but it has to be good. Seriously, I've had some bad ones and they would put me in a bad mood for days!
If you happen to be in Moscow, Idaho, perhaps dropping off your child at college, give Sangria Grille a try. I was a little skeptical, but I saw so much cattle on the road from Bellevue to Pullman, that I figured, "It's gotta be good!"
On busy weekends, the wait could be up to an hour or two. Just eat later, we did, and we're glad we waited.
I think you need a little time when you have a big steak dinner, so pass on the appetizers here, there's nothing special. The service is not bad, not great, but the service is friendly.

A little heat in the frozen Palouse: Abuelo's Fine Mexican Dining, Pullman, WA
So I thought that after my son transferred from University of Arizona to Washington State University, that good Mexican food was out of reach...wrong. On our first visit, we saw one bad food choice after another, then we found Abuelo's!!! I suspect the space was a fast food place originally, not charming. OK, we got over it when we saw the cute little lady making handmade tortillas and smashing delicious salsas in her mortar...mmm.
The food authentic the salsa...the STAR!!!

I would cook and I would bake - Oh, what royal feasts I'd make...
The goal at Olivar is to cook like you're cooking for kings and I think they did a great job feeding this Princess. First off, DESSERT is my favorite at Olivar. I didn't feel like having the whole chocolate experience, so the selection was PERFECT!
So the space is small - a plus - Spanish and French inspired - a plus - featuring small plates - ok - the flavor combinations - AMAZING!!!
