Holiday Fitness Update

If you're still struggling to figure out what to give to friends for Christmas...everyone needs Exercise-to-Go Workout Cards. If you know someone who just dabbles a little in the gym, you know a parent who has small children and can't get to the gym, or you know a business traveller who wants to keep up their fitness routine, the Exercise-To-Go Workout Cards are great. I have been super busy baking, so getting to the gym just wasn't possible, but I pulled out a few cards, did the exercise and didn't feel like I missed a workout.

OK, Confession, the last 2 weeks have been rough. I made it to the gym 5 times 2 weeks ago, but last week...NO. I did my resistance training 2 times, cardio only once! I chose a few Exercise-to-Go cards and did a couple workouts at home and no guilt, workout done!

It's Monday and I went to the gym today. I did my resistance training and added 30 minutes of cardio on the Arc Trainer to the end. I don't have any excuse for not getting my flabby self into the gym, so until the end of this year, I THINK I CAN, I THINK I CAN!!!

Holiday Fitness Program: Week III

My Trainer: Tim Koffler

So this week went fine.

Sunday: Rest

Monday: 30 Cardio

Tuesday: Weight Training & 20 Cardio

Wednesday: 30 Cardio

Thursday: 30 Cardio

Friday: 30 Cardio

Saturday: Rest

Sunday: Weight Training & 20 Cardio

OK, Confession...my eating program fell apart on Sunday. I had a VERY stressful Saturday and spent the day trying to relax my nerves and read New Moon in bed and watched bad tv.

Sunday, I slapped myself silly and go to the gym. I did my weight training program and some cardio...went home and hell broke loose. I shouldn't have done it, but I baked some chocolate croissants...AND ATE ONE. NEXT...went to church and then went to Ezelles Fried Chicken and sweet iced tea. Dinner wasn't any better, picked at Port Salut cheese, dry Italian Salami, and sour dough bread with butter. To end it all, frozen Peppermint Patties.

New Week!

Tuesday: 30 Cardio/ spin
Wednesday: Power Walk w/ my friend
Thanksgiving: Resistance Training
Friday: 30 Cardio/ Step Mill
Saturday: Resistance Training
I feel like I should have done more cardio because of Thanksgiving, but I didn't pork out on Thanksgiving, so no biggie! My husband did resistance training both times with me this week, so it went by quickly. Next week, he'll only get to workout with me on the weekend. OK, all the business travelleres on my Christmas list...Stocking Stuffer!!!
