A great start for Thanksgiving dinner. I have to admit, with all the cooking I had for Thanksgiving dinner, I made Beatrix's Red Kuri Soup in my slow-cooker. Super easy and delicious. I also appreciated the Bonne Idee to add blue cheese...Yum!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great seasonal appetizer! Perfect to start off the Thanksgiving feast! And what a smart idea to make it in the slow cooker! Hope your Thanksgiving was a success.
ReplyDeleteMy butternut squash-chestnut combination could have definitely used the salty tang of the blue cheese.
ReplyDeleteThe slow cooker was a great idea! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteAnything that can be made to work in the slow-cooker is fine with me. I thought about doing that, Gracie, but I love to make soup in my old Wagner so didn't haul out the crockpot. Your soup looks beautiful. I like blue cheese with about anything.
