Family Dinner: Turkey Koobideh

My husband made this, besides the turkey, he followed the recipe for Kabab Koobideh from!!! Served with tzatziki, garlic naan, lettuce and tomato. YUM.

Turkey Koobideh
Adapted from
1lb ground Turkey
1/2 onion, diced
Some parsley leaves, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 egg
ground black pepper, to taste
canola oil

Put the meat, egg, turmeric powder, and salt into a food processor and blend quickly. Transfer the meat to a bowl and mix well with the diced onion and chopped parsley. Chill the meat in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
John did not skewer these. The turkey meat was very loose. Brush with oil. Transfer to sheet pan and broil until brown, about 5 minutes, then flip and brown the other side.
